If there’s not enough room for work
If the kitchen area is small, you can use a couch instead of a sofa, on which you can lie down if you want. A popular way to arrange a recreation area was to use a window sill as a sofa. To do this, a standard window sill will need to be slightly expanded and strengthened. To create a cozy place soft pillows or rollers, put on a blanket, and here is a place for reading your favorite book.
If you are the owner of a studio apartment, then the question of saving space is familiar to you firsthand, every meter should be used with benefit. In this case, equip a comfortable place for work at the window. You may use a window sill as a table, and place boxes for necessary trifles nearby. As an option to save space, you can make a folding tabletop, bolted to the window sill on the hinges, if it is not necessary, it is easy to fold.
