I’ve already spoken to you about Lise Bienaimé and her amazing jams in the "chic groceries" Circuit. Ex Marketing Director at Clinique, this marmalade expert isn’t satisfied with just selling her delicious mixed fruit, spice and walnut creations. She shares a few exclusive recipes on her site, hoping we’ll get addicted to making our own homemade jam jellies. She even delivers her secrets on how to sterilise a jam jar or test the jam without a thermometer. I’ve been doing all my gifts here for the last few months from her rue des Martys boutique. Special mention for rose and lychee flavored sugar that transforms any kind of yoghurt into an "Ispahan", the famous Pierre Hermé cake. Lise has also had a little kitchen fitted into her boutique where she wants to organise workshops for the little ones as well as adults. But while waiting for this project to be ready, the Parisian has had the idea of another family activity : the confituroscope. If you make a reservation, Lise invites the photographer Fred Toulet to come and shoot your children, at the back of the boutique. Then you choose jams you want to put the sweet faces of your children on. Two days later, you come back to find the jars customized in black and white. THE ideal present to put a tear in your grandparents’ eyes…
